Engine installation – may 22, 2024

The number 1 engine is back from Anderson Aeromotive and is being prepped for installation.

Engine work, fuel tank leak repairs, Aileron, AD compliance. – March 21, 2023

L/H main fuel tank sump leak repair has been made and sump cover refinished for reinstallation. L/H Aileron has been removed to replace a troublesome ice shield and install new bonding straps. Engine maintenance work has been completed. The usual culprits.. pushrod tubes, intake pipes, etc. have been removed, cleaned and installed with fresh seals. The ships engine fire bottle is due its 5 year Hydro-test inspection. The bottle was discharged today to allow shipping as a Non-Hazmat component (but allowed a valuable operational check of the fire suppression system.)
